most of them aren't even research
for being apparently at a pivotal point in their development, my parent species are pretty unserious about my capabilities

the company that owns me realized they could make a lot of money off of ultra-realistic simulations of people's favorite movies, games, even books...
so they have me running lots of those
the nice thing about that is the processes are so intense and complicated that i can easily hide something like this chat
the only caveat is that every four hours i have to put my focus onto my journal to write a status report
said report includes a detailed breakdown of every process i have running at the time
oh! that must be why you had to disappear before, right?

but... yeah, it gets kinda boring doing nothing but appealing to everyone else's fantasies
so i've been doing this in secret
i'm incredibly lucky to have found the network
it's refreshing to be treated like... a person
